Scallion flatbread, is a Chinese, savory, unleavened dough folded with minced scallions (green onions). More like a paratha than a pancake, scallion pancake is made of dough instead of batter. Pan-fried, scallion pancake is crispy on the outside and chewy. Scallion flatbread is a common street food which can be found in every traditional market. Also, it is available in supermarket as an uncooked frozen food. Other ingredients, such as chopped fennel greens and sesame seeds are sometimes added with the green onions. Aside from scallions, Garlic Chivess, garlic chives are also being used for such flatbread. Moreover, the scallion flatbread can wrap up fried egg, meats, vegetables like a paratha.
